Vin Diemen Festival

Sydney-siders can experience a true Tasmanian experience at this year’s Vin Diemen festival, which will arrive in the heart of the city. Brought to life by Wine Tasmania, with support from master of events Revel, the Vin Diemen event will give guests an opportunity to explore Tasmania’s culinary delights without leaving the city.

Throughout the day, guests can wind their way through each region enjoying an array of flavours from sparkling and riesling to chardonnay and pinot noir from every corner of the island, with wines from Tamar Valley, Great Eastern, Southern and North West Wine Trails. The day will welcome 20 producers and over 100 different wines, including Tamar Ridge, Moore’s Hill Estate, Bream Creek Vineyard and Sharmans Wines.

To accompany the local wine, food will also be available featuring Tasmania’s outstanding produce. Vineyard Seafood Restaurant will be showcasing its new seafood pate range to snack on as well as its signature dishes the 'Char-grilled Octopus with basil pesto and balsamic reduction' and seasonal Tassie scallops.

Limited VIP tickets are also available for guests which include an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ experience. Each ticket includes a Plumm wine glass to taste and take home, all wine tasting, and food samples from producers.

The event will run from 12:00pm to 5:00pm (VIP from 11:00am) and tickets can be purchased online.
