The Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival culminates in the WorkPac Literary Dinner, held on the final night of the Festival. This celebratory event provides an opportunity for guests to meet the authors in a relaxed environment, and to be entertained by guest speaker, Li Cunxin, author of Mao's Last Dancer and Artistic Director at Queensland Ballet.

Li Cunxin's journey is simply remarkable. His autobiography, Mao's Last Dancer, was number one on Australia's best seller list and the highest grossing Australian film the year that the movie adaptation was released. An inspirational and motivational speaker, Li Cunxin's story is a beautiful account of his extraordinary journey, told with honesty, dignity and pride.
