The Gentle Goodbye East Coast Tour stops through multiple venues in QLD, NSW and Vic with festival appearances at Mojo Burning in Brisbane (feat. 1000mods, Tumbleweed, The Vasco Era and more) and Psych Lords in Geelong (feat. 1000mods, Child, Devil Electric and more).

In Melbourne's constantly growing music scene, newly-emerging but internationally-recognised five piece Whoopie Cat are breaking down barriers of musical nuance, moulding together the characteristics of progressive rock and heavy blues.

"Their latest single Gentle Goodbye feels like a song of epic proportions, uniting these triumphant guitar riffs with soaring vocals and punching percussion for a track that blurs these genre boundaries a little and offers something a touch different to your stock-standard rock tune" -Pilerats

"A remarkably good mix of blues and progrock with dirty raw guitar riffs on a very intriguing album." - Blues Magazine

Joining Whoopie Cat for this event are:

The Desert Sea:
Who have put the finishing touches on their new EP 'Awake Me' and hitting the road support its release. Produced by Lucius Borich (cog), Awake Me is the bands heaviest work so far. With fuzzed out stoner riffs and pounding rhythm section.

A Basket of Mammoths:
a three piece band that combines the classic combo of guitar, bass, drums and vocals to create their own unique and ever-evolving blend of psychedelic stoner rock complete with heavy riffs, long spacey jams and solos that’ll rip your face off!

Swamp Moth:
Five of Melbourne's finest purveyors of swagger and groove dig deep to find the best of the rest of late 60's and early 70's psych and hard rock.
