Woodstock Artisans Market

Following on from its successful debut in November 2018, Woodstock Artisans Market is on again, on Sunday February 10, 2019 with even more unique stalls. This exciting new shopping event is set in restored 1871 building the Woodstock Community Centre and its lush parklands, providing an oasis of treasures and tranquility for the busy shoppers of Sydney’s Inner West.

Conveniently located close to Burwood’s bustling town centre, the Artisans Market showcases designers and makers of unique, handmade homewares, fashion, art, ceramics, jewellery and much more. Shoppers can fossick for those special, one-of-a-kind purchases, all in the relaxing and beautiful surroundings of this long-hidden heritage gem.

A playground for children and surrounding picnic areas create an inviting space for families and shoppers to take time out in between wandering the stalls. Food traders and coffee are also on site, as well as Devonshire tea.

Woodstock was built as a home in 1871 by Edwin Thomas Penfold and changed hands numerous times before being acquired by Burwood Council. Based at 22 Church Street, this stunning site consists of the renovated, heritage-listed Woodstock Community Centre, spacious Woodstock Park and the newer addition of Fitzroy Hall.

Entry to the Woodstock Artisans Market is free. Disabled parking is available and Disabled access is provided at Woodstock Community Centre.

The venue is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Burwood Train Station.
