Active, meditative, creative or destructive, Worktable is a live installation with you at the centre. Inside a room you’ll find instructions, equipment and safety goggles—and then you get to work. It’s up to you to decide how things come apart and how they fit together.

Artist Kate McIntosh is guided by her ongoing fascination with the misuse of objects, playfulness with audiences and offbeat humour. In Worktable she’s giving you the power to unleash your creativity. We provide the hammer—you do the rest.
