World Vegan Day

Mamasita will toss out its regular menu for the day this World Vegan Day as the venue transforms into a 100% vegan food and beverage offering. Diners can feast on a five-course ‘feed me’ menu, a seven-course ‘World Vegan Day celebration menu’ or order a la carte. Vegan cocktails, beers and wines will also be available to be paired with the menu or to be ordered individually from the revised beverage list.

Vegan dishes on the day will include the likes of Ceviche De Betabel—steamed beetroot cured in lime and jalapenos with spring onion and blood orange and Watermelon Tostada—fresh watermelon, lime juice, soy sauce and guacamole. One of the desserts will be Tres Leches—Mexican vanilla infused sponge soaked in tres leches (coconut milk, macadamia milk, almond milk) with toasted almond and ancho praline, and salted coconut and mango sorbet, created by head chef Martin Zozaya.

Mamasita has offered vegan options since its inception in 2010 but this is the first time it’s offered an exclusively 100% vegan service.
