3-Day Workshop: Sing! Dance! Act! 7–17 Yrs

Workshop description:
Our 3-Day Holiday Workshop is a great way to boost your child’s confidence and performing art skills in a short period of time! If your child hasn’t attended one of our workshops before then they are in for a treat! With multiple coaches we are able to cater to beginners and advanced—kids to teens!

Over 3 Days Students will experience a range of creative, performance based exercises and activities whilst working towards putting on a small show to present to friends and family on the last day. Children will be split into age groups, where appropriate and come together for the final performance. Free admission!

Children will be lead by our talented Coaches (including our Managing Director), each with different specialties and knowledge to pass on to the kids. Our staff all have their Bluecard Working With Children's Card and our Manager on site has a cert in first aid.

Lessons may involve, but are not limited to the following:
- Icebreakers & Get To Know You Activities
- Creative games and exercises
- Posture, Status & Stage Presence
- Vocal Projection
- Learn a Song
- Learn a Dance Routine
- Audition and work on a short play, poem or sketch
- Perform for friends and family!

Please make sure to answer all relevant questions on the order form to save time on the day!

What to wear/bring:
For safety reasons, children must wear closed in shoes (ie joggers) at all times.

All kids/teens will be required to wear dark coloured pants or leggings for the performance, along with The Wright Theatre School shirt. Our shirts are WRAP certified, ethically sourced, wick-able material and are available for purchase on location or online for $25. Alternatively students may wear their own dark purple shirt for the show. All other props and costumes will be provided.

It is a fun but physically demanding day, so children will need to bring their own water, healthy lunch and healthy snacks. Strictly no nuts.
