A Little Lunch Music: The Morrisons

Sydney’s favourite lunchtime concert series returns in 2020 with twelve uplifting concerts performed by Australia’s finest artists. Pick your favourite, or better yet, set yourself up for a year of beautiful musical lunchtimes with a five, eight or twelve-concert package.

The Morrisons have cemented their place as the darlings of the Sydney bluegrass and folk scene, blending Australian stories with sounds of traditional American bluegrass, folk, and old timey music. They have warmed stages for Justin Townes Earle, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats, Marlon Williams, and All Our Exes Live in Texas; have appeared at Woodford, Port Fairy, and Secret Garden Festivals; have been nominated for a Golden Guitar, and won an Australian Songwriting Award.

After a sold out performance at City Recital Hall in 2019 with their show Man of Constant Sorrow: A Tribute to the Music of ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’, The Morrisons are returning to pay homage to the songs that have inspired them, and to share some of their own original works.
