Amber Mic Productions is a Melbourne based booking agency who is hosting Action Slacks “Find A Way” single launch show.

Like many in 2020, Brisbane’s Action Slacks found themselves in unfamiliar territory at the start of the year. With lockdown in full effect and planned shows cancelled, Maddy, Levi and Jimmy poured their collective efforts into pulling together a compilation of eclectic tracks for the first Action Slacks EP. The lead single – "Find A Way" is due for release December 4. The track was recorded between Kelvin Grove’s Plutonium Studios with engineer Aidan Hogg (Jaguar Jonze, WAAX, Hatchie), and the band’s home studio. Immediately captivating listeners, the shimmering synth-pop sensibilities in Find A Way are out in force, whilst striking a darker, groovy and more sombre tone from their previous efforts.

In an exciting venture back to live performance, the support of other local musicians is imperative to the emerging music scene in Queensland. Action Slack’s support acts for this show are BLIGH, Ankle Smokers and Da’Vaim, who are all artists embraced by the community and loved by the crowds. Many of them featuring on Triple J Unearthed, these musicians all dive into similar genre pools while being musically unique.
