Summer-time drinks and dining are set to be transformed with a series of pop-up alfresco spaces extending its outdoor precinct along the Yarra.

Mirvac has worked closely with the City of Melbourne on its open dining initiative to encourage people back into the CBD by creating new vibrant riverside dining options at Riverside Quay as lockdown restrictions lift.

The modular pop-ups, created by Spacecube, expand the outdoor retail operations for five of Mirvac’s well-known tenants, including Left Bank, Hopscotch, Ludlow, Soho, and Breslin, bringing new open-air dining experiences for Melburnians just in time for summer.

The quickly deployed modular structures allow a fast and flexible expansion of the existing outdoor terraces at Riverside Quay, creating even more open-air options for diners looking for a superb spot for lunch, dinner, or an after-work drink with spectacular city views.

From burgers and craft beer, cocktails to barbeque grill and European fine dining, each retailer will create a space unique to their brand and offering, ensuring something for everyone and every occasion at the market-lane style activation. The spaces also have outdoor heating, taking the worry out of the Melbourne weather for patrons.

The extended outdoor dining will help the retailers cater for more customers and will operate as COVID safe spaces in line with the health restrictions advised by the Victorian Government.

Wilson Parking is offering $5 weekend parking at Riverside Quay Car Park, ensuring convenient and cheap access to the precinct.
