An Evening of Soul - Adam Hall and the Soul Playboys

Prepare for an evening of soul, velvet sounds and groovy times, presented by Adam Hall (leader of the Velvet Playboys). Dance the night away to classics by Stevie Wonder, Prince and Michael Jackson plus the more contemporary Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé. Throw in hip hop artists Puff Daddy and Snoop Dogg and you’ve got an evening of soul with the Soul Playboys!

The night’s repertoire includes many of your favourites such as "Superstition", "No Diggity", "Got to Give It Up" and "Blurred Lines" plus many more classic hits that will have you dancing in the aisles.

Having headlined many major festivals around the world it is an amazing opportunity for Perth to hear this one of a kind band. Usually at this of year they are on a world tour performing in venues such as Blue Note (Osnabruck, Germany), Aachner Vieher (Cologne, Germany), Grand Blues Jam (Bergkamen, Germany), Vienna Blues Festival (Austria), Metropol (Vienna), Les Caveau de Augustins (Bayonne, France), Rockin Race Jamboree (Spain), Le Groot Verlof (Belgium), Benenwerk (Belgium), Red Ballroom (Berlin), Blue Note (Dresden), Bergmannstrassefest (Germany), Sultan Jazz Club (Singapore), Maritime Museum (Hong Kong), Hyatt (Hong Kong), United Exchange Square (Hong Kong) and the City Concert Hall (Hong Kong).

The songs will be presented with the backing of one of Australia’s finest bands. The ensemble will be presenting unique arrangements with a full horn section and background vocals to accompany.
