Leading community-based organisation, Community Vision will host a sit-down three-course dinner on 13 August at their Woodvale Social Centre called An Evening to Remember, to celebrate and welcome the community back, post COVID-19 closures.
The night will offer a variety of entertainment from live music to nostalgic soundtracks, as guests savour a winter menu including French Onion Soup to start, Braised Beef Fillet with Winter Vegetables for main and a Classic Apple Pie to finish.
The Western Australian Charity Orchestra, who aims to change lives through music, will also fully donate their time and local businesses such as Oak and Barrell Events Company have also shown support for the event.
An evening to remember arose from the desire to provide support to the community and their loved ones to enjoy an evening out within a secure and calm environment surrounded with other families of similar circumstances within the community.
All profits from ticket sales will go towards Community Visions Dementia specific therapy such as Virtual Reality, the Community Bus and their Sensory rooms.
