7th Annual Father’s Day Classic Car and Bike Show goes virtual in a car show first! Visit Showcars Melbourne Father's Day Classic Cars & Bike show Facebook page.

You can't get to the cars, so we are bringing them to you, offering enthusiasts the chance to see hundreds of classic, sports and muscle cars, hot rods, street machines and motorbikes, from the comfort of their own home. New cars across Victoria and interstate are being uploaded daily.

Anyone who loves a classic car and bike - from car nuts to enthusiasts, can indulge their love of shiny metal by visiting the online event and participating in the weekly People’s Choice Awards. Online voting for the Father’s Day Awards will close at midday on Sunday 6 September. The Awards event will then be live-streamed from 1pm with the Awards presentation where 20 trophies will be up for grabs starting at 4 pm to 5 pm.

For the last six years the Annual Father’s Day Classic Car and Bike Show, presented by the Acland Street Village Business Association and organised by Showcars Melbourne, has become a much loved event, attracting crowds in excess of 40,000 to marvel at more than 650 classic vehicles along Melbourne’s iconic Acland Street. Acland Street Village traders were keen to find a way for it to proceed.

“We are thrilled to be able to present this event online. It has become so popular with fans and families since it began, so we really wanted to find a way to make it happen within the Covid limitations, to show our appreciation to the car and bike owners and the public who have supported the event over the years”, said Janet Rosenberg, President, Acland Street Village Business Association.

“Going online was a no brainer. We know enthusiasts are suffering motoring withdrawals with no live shows. Based on the participation to date, people are loving the chance to get involved and get their classic car and bike fix. Thanks to Acland Street Village Traders for their support in making this happen”, said Elvis Barbieri from Showcars Melbourne.
