Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ) is proud to offer a series of art workshops led by two of Queensland's very talented artists as a special Mental Health Week event.

Phoebe Hofsteede (photographer and mixed media artist) and Maria Watson-Trudgett (Aboriginal contemporary artist) will be leading workshops in their own special way to bring their style of art to you.

There will be two workshops available per day.

Materials are provided.

Bookings close Monday 28 September 2020.

Bookings are restricted to a maximum of 12 participants per workshop. Please read the Terms & Conditions before booking.

About the workshops...

Phoebe Hofsteede will provide an introduction to the art of flower pressing, and how to delicately craft, design and adhere them to create elegant and unique collages. Participants are welcome to submit photographs of their own to info@rfq.com.au (before the closing date of 28 September) or use photographs Phoebe will provide on the day. Phoebe has exhibited her work at the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition.

Phoebe's workshops will be held on Monday 12, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2020.

To see Phoebe's work visit her website or Instagram account.

Maria Watson-Trudgett is a Wiradjuri person, contemporary artist and cultural consultant. Maria is offering a cultural immersion painting experience. Join Maria’s painting and yarning session where you will learn about Aboriginal culture, symbols in art, traditional vs contemporary art and how to tap into your intuition to express yourself in an explosion of colour.
