Victorian families are encouraged to celebrate the start of the new season with Boneo Discovery Park’s Autumn Fest this coming Labour Day weekend, with plenty of family fun for all ages.

Set in Boneo’s lush games garden, Autumn Fest will run from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 7th March, and is jam-packed with fun for both kids and adults. Kids activities include face painting, Autumn crafts, a jumping castle, circus workshops, wildlife displays and bubble workshops.

Each ticket also allows entry to the stunning wetlands walk, where visitors can take in 27 acres of native flora, fauna and animals at Boneo Discovery Park. Families will also get a chance to enjoy the Giant Games Garden with Giant Chess, Checkers, Hookey, Jenga and Connect Four.

After the kids have explored the grounds, pull up a picnic rug and enjoy a picnic lunch in the games garden while listening to live music from Adam & Harry and Brad Johnston. Local beer and wine will be available from the bar as well as Dutch street food from Lekker Lekker.

For added fun, families can experience all the other attractions Boneo has to offer across the entire Labour Day long weekend (open daily 10am–5pm), including Sand Sculpting Australia’s Animalia in Sand, The Wetlands, Giant Games Garden, Mini Golf, Bungee Trampolines and Climbing Wall.

Animalia in Sand brings to life author Graeme Base’s beloved picture book Animalia, through incredible sand sculptures, complemented by augmented reality technology experiences.

More than 3,500 tonnes of sand has been transformed into all our favourite Animalia characters ranging from Ingenious Iguanas to Vaudeville Ventriloquist Vultures. Fifteen award-winning sculptors from around the globe have worked for over 450 hours collectively to bring the exhibition to life along the wetlands and lush garden pathways.

Please refer to the website for all other prices, including park entry only, mini golf and other activities.
