NAZEEM HUSSAIN - HUSSAIN THAT?

As seen on Netflix's COMEDIANS of the World, Orange Is the New Brown, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!; and Bill Nye Saves The World.

It’s been a huge few years for Nazeem. You’d have seen his face pop up on Channel 7 in his own sketch series Orange Is The New Brown, or on his Netflix half-hour special, or perhaps you saw him on The Masked Singer after which he became BFFs with Lindsay Lohan. Or maybe you took a selfie with Nazeem, literally as he was getting caught fare-evading on public transport. What a tight ass.

Whatever the case, don’t miss your chance to see Nazeem do what he does best and loves most.

Selling out shows across Australia, New Zealand, Edinburgh, London, China, Malaysia, Montreal and even Sri Lanka, Nazeem is a comedian at the top of his game. Twice nominated for a Helpmann Award for 'Best Comedy Performer,' and twice winning an Australian Writers’ Guild award for ‘Best Sketch Comedy’, Nazeem also made his Netflix debut in January 2019 as part of the streaming service’s unprecedented stand-up comedy event series, COMEDIANS of the World.

Naz has performed at the invitation-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and three times at both Edinburgh Fringe and London’s Soho Theatre. His ABC comedy podcast, Burn Your Passport, was also ranked within the Top 20 most listened to Australian podcasts on debut.

BECKY LUCAS - MY NECK, MY BACK

Comedian, writer, performer and rat, BECKY LUCAS, isn’t letting 2020 off the hook.

Still reeling from being called “Ma’am” while purchasing a packet of hot Cheetos and a Maxibon at the local convenience store, Becky was reminded that she had to come up with a title and blurb for this year’s show.

“Urgh, it truly is hard being a woman in comedy, I thought, sucking the Cheetos dust off my ring finger and thumb. Anyway, I wrote most of these jokes in my head whilst sitting at the pub being lectured to about data mining by a guy with stick 'n' poke tattoos and bad breath. I think it’s a good show, but please don’t come if your favourite comedian is Stephen Fry or if you quote-tweet things with ‘let this sink in’. I’m a stupid bitch and I’ve never pretended to be otherwise.”

Becky has spent years writing and performing stand-up and in the last year alone has performed solo shows at the Sydney Opera House, made her US TV late night stand-up debut on Conan (after opening for him at his first comedy show outside the US at Sydney’s State Theatre in early 2019, and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Montreal Festival.

Lucas has been performing shows to sold-out crowds in Australia, NZ and overseas for years, including the Edinburgh Festival. When she’s not on stage, Becky is all over the small screen. As well as her TV debut on Conan, which made her the first female Australian to feature on the show, she is also a regular on the annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s annual televised Oxfam Gala and Comedy Up Late series which both air on ABC TV. Her other credits include Hughesy We Have A Problem, Big Bad Love, Best of the Sydney Fest, JFL’s The Stand Up Series, Fancy Boy, Share This, and 7 Days in NZ.
