Build Your Own Soft Toy Sock Animal - Hand Sewing Basics

Have you got sentimental holey socks and gloves lying around at home? In this workshop we'll help you hand sew them into a soft toy animal.

Suitable for 8 to 12 year olds. Beginner hand sewing skills will be an advantage.

Children are masters at creating different characters and this workshop allows for those characters to come to life. Our sew-tastic facilitator, Anne, will reveal the secrets of breathing life into a special little character of your own creation.

What you can bring:

An old pair of socks or gloves that have seen better days.

Buttons & other embelishments
Needle & thread
Spare sets of socks
Wadding

Please note, this is a 2.5 hour workshop, which may run until 1pm, depending on participants' sewing abilities.
