This weekend Camera Craft 1 intensive is designed to help you get the most out of your DSLR or Compact-System camera. The primary aims of this course are to assist you in developing your creativity, as well as teaching you how to use your camera in full manual mode.
Over two consecutive days you will learn about the fundamental creative principles of photography and how these principles relate to your camera's functions. Lectures and slides are used to illustrates key concepts and images created during the course will be reviewed by the class.
Camera Craft 1 encourages discussion amongst participants relating to various historical and contemporary images to help with your understanding of exposure, subject and composition.
This course is for those wanting to build a solid foundation in photography or plan to continue develop their photographic skills with ACP, and don't have the time to commit to a five week course. Participants should expect to bring their images from the first session on a USB for discussion the following day.
This course is run over two full consecutive days with a maximum class size of 8 participants.
Prerequisites and Requirements
This course requires no previous experience.
Bring your own DSLR or Mirrorless (MILC) camera (charged batteries and memory card). If you are unsure please search your camera brand and model for clarification.
