How can one person make a difference against the weight of the world?
Inspired by the ‘3.5% rule’—the idea that a small group of individuals can incite change in the modern world—Cataclysm is a gritty and disarming 55-minute circus work of dynamic aerials and contemporary dance. Featuring some of Australia’s next best circus talent, these acrobats pulsate on stage with electrifying skills including aerial straps, acrobatic tumbling, roue Cyr and fast-paced manipulation, all set to an eclectic soundtrack including the sounds of Gotye, Kanye and Goldfrapp.
Cataclysm is about how we perceive, watch, view and see each other, how we react and move in response, and about how a spark that can change the world.
