It is with great excitement that we present the best of Melbourne and Sydney’s Children’s International Film Festival held this November-December with a series of fun and vibrant films for kids, families and the young at heart.

As many parents and carers now know after a very unusual year, with kids at home for an extended length of time, there is an abundance of moving-image content available for children online, which makes it more important than ever to make sure that their young eyes and ears experience the very best of what cinema has to offer.

In partnership with CHIFF, we are helping to pursue their mission to deliver a programme of high-quality children’s films that go far beyond what Australian kids typically have access. Our spectacular programme of West Australian premieres contains the newest of new films, many of which have been sourced from the most prestigious children’s film festivals around the world.

These are films that are otherwise not available in Australia, so do not miss this unique opportunity for your family to see them on the big screen and enjoy the cinema experience once more in our parkland picnic venues.

This year’s programme features new re-imaginings of classic characters such as Lassie and Sherlock Holmes; plus Dino Dana making her feature film debut and a special free screening of the classic The Princess Bride. You will also get the opportunity to meet beloved film and literary characters from other parts of the world such as Coconut the Little Dragon and 5-year-old Ella Bella Bingo. And if that’s not enough we herald the rise of our own famous quokka, Daisy, who sets out to prove that the world’s most lovable animal is in fact the scariest.

So join us as we present the best of CHIFF as we have a film for you!
