Chinese New Year – Awakening of The Dragon Painting Class

Join us for our arty ‘awakening of the dragon’ painting class to welcome the Chinese Year of the Rat. Be part of this long tradition in Melbourne and bring this magnificent dragon to life in stunning hues of red and pink.

As we paint, we’ll be mentally recreating the sound of fireworks, drums, firecrackers and, of course, the symbolism of the dragon itself. Get a hands-on experience of the Chinese New Year for a change! We’ll break down all the steps for you but feel free to get as creative as you want with all the small details to come up with a unique masterpiece.

Not included. You’re welcome to buy food and drinks at the venue while we paint.

Experience level:
No painting experience needed. All levels are welcome.
