To say the beginning of 2020 at Cockburn Gateway Shopping City will be full of excitement, colour and movement, would be the understatement of the brand-new decade.

Expect to be delighted and entertained by some of Australia’s most awarded performers of circus, acrobatics and comedy as Cockburn Gateway proudly presents Cirque du Gateway, Monday 6th January—Friday 31st January. The centre will host four Fringe World Festival shows and a range of other show stopping entertainment.

Cirque du Gateway Fringe World Festival shows include: Children’s Event Award winner 2019, science and STEM enthusiast Magnus Danger Magnus, Friday 17th and Sunday 19th January.

Award-winning, five-star comedy hypnotist Matt Hale in Random Acts of Mindness - Saturdays 18th and 25th January.

Multi award-winning perfomer, Daniel Gorski (as seen on ABC kids as Jango in Hoopla Doopla) presents Mr Gorski combining comedy, circus and magic - Friday 24th and Sunday 26th January.

Following a sell-out, multi award winning Fringe World Festival 2019 season The Greatest Magic Show presented by Showmen Productions will take up residence at Cockburn Gateway for one show only - Friday 31st January.

As part of Cirque du Gateway, Neon Nights brings fun and excitement to the evenings at Cockburn Gateway including Light Up Hoops performances with glow in the dark hoola hoops, and instructed classes encouraging customers and the community to try their hand at hoola hooping with light up hoops.

There will also be roving entertainment with the amazing Neon Hover Boarders, Robot Stilt Walkers featuring custom made LED suits, roving fire performances, and Light Up Roller Skaters. And back by popular demand - Cinema Nights, a hugely popular free event as part of Cirque du Gateway.
The school holiday program from Monday 6th - Friday 17th January sees an extravaganza of side show alley and circus themed activities, including hook a duck fairground booth, hammer strength tester game, interactive augmented reality rollercoaster ride on a large screen, kinetic sand art and more action for the kids.
