Australia’s most glamorous seaside festival, CottFilmFest will run over three consecutive weekends, opening Friday 31 January with the award-winning Australian drama, Ride Like a Girl and concluding with Spanish masterpiece, Pain and Glory on Sunday 16 February. Festival founder and director Miranda Edmonds said she was delighted with the diversity of next year’s film lineup.
"I am really proud of the fabulous program we have planned for 2020. We have three Aussie films, four films directed by women, two inspirational documentaries, several family-friendly nights and the latest Tarantino cult hit for our main party night," said Miranda.
Friday 31 January - Ride Like a Girl, with special guest Josh Lee Hamilton
Saturday 1 February - Ford V Ferrari, with special guest Grace Armstrong
Sunday 2 February - The Australian Dream, with special guests the Madjitil Moorna Choir
Friday 7 February - Ophelia, with special guest Fiona Lawn Davies
Saturday 8 February - Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, with special guest DJ Bruce
Sunday 9 February - Pavarotti, with special guest DivaLicious star Penny Shaw
Friday 14 February - Palm Beach, with special guest guitar duo F6
Saturday 15 February - Frozen 2, with loads of family entertainment
Sunday 16 February - Pain & Glory, with special guest Jere Sosa
From 5pm each night, guests can enjoy live music, delicious food and licensed bars, while watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Then settle down under the stars for a world class movie.
