Restful Waters

Allow yourself the time to slow down and let all your worries melt away in this 2 hour yoga retreat designed to help you to find deep relaxation and inner peace.

Restful Waters has been the home of this signature “Deep Rest” retreat since 2017. Set in a nature sanctuary, Deep Rest has been talked about by its frequent attendees as “medicine for the soul” and “a much needed relaxation session”. With each session being carefully crafted with a unique theme and an opportunity for you to find some peace in the midst of a chaotic world.

Prema (your Deep Rest specialist) will guide you through a relaxation journey with 2 hours of Vishrant Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra (a powerful relaxation technique) and Pranayama. This gentle but potent combination of practices will have you walking away feeling deeply restful, rejuvenated and uplifted.

Haven’t tried Vishrant Yin Yoga yet? You’re in for a real treat! It’s a very restorative and meditative practice that supports softening and the release of habitual patterns of tension. Carefully chosen floor based postures are held for longer periods to allow the body’s ability to open naturally and release resistance slowly.

Yoga Nidra is also known as ‘yogic sleep’, and just half an hour of this relaxation technique will have you feeling like you had a few hours of uninterrupted sleep. Lying comfortably in Savasana, Prema will guide you through a systematic journey of sensory awareness throughout your body to experience the state of consciousness between awake and asleep. The main benefit of this entire practice is… DEEP REST.

You are invited to an afternoon of pure bliss.
