Brisbane metal band Devonian launching their debut EP 'Witchcraft' on the Gold Coast, with guests The Stranger, Void Matter and Awake in Time.

Devonian is a unique, female-fronted metal band, serving up a blend of complex riffs, tasty choruses, and punchy breakdowns. Drawing on a lifetime of dedication to her art, vocalist Diletta energises a crowd with her enigmatic and gifted vocals, cutting lyrics and powerful stage presence.

2019 has seen Devonian release singles "The Other Half" and "Collateral Damage", support Swiss metal legends Eluveitie on their Australian tour, and Ross The Boss (ex Manowar). Devonian has been busy in the recording studio completing the tracks for their 4 track EP titled 'Witchcraft'.

Joining Devonian to help launch the EP is Brisbane progressive metal band The Stranger. They have been captivating audiences with their energetic live performances which display the interplay of instrumental virtuosity and lyrical story telling—for which the band has become known. The Stranger has been fortunate enough to share the stage with Australian progressive metal powerhouses Caligula’s Horse and German power metal legends Helloween.

Void Matter is a five piece band from Brisbane. Melody fused with raw energy, they draw influence from many spheres of heavy music, creating their our own blend of metal. Drawing inspiration from bands like Parkway Drive, Polaris, Wage War and Trivium.

Awake In Time are a Gold Coast band determined to push the boundaries of the metal/punk genres. Juxtaposing their tunes with huge guitar riffs, aggressive breakdowns and catchy melodies with an ever so slight hint of hip hop, their sound is as unique as it is unforgettable. Highly energetic, immensely powerful, Awake In Time are producing a sound that is full of grunt, and packed with substance.
