Green Connect is excited to bring the community together with a range of events focusing on fair food and sustainable practices. We are temporarily suspending ticketed events in response to recommendations from World Health Organisation (WHO) and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer in regards to COVID-19. We will relist our popular farm events with great enthusiasm as soon as we can. Check back regularly to be a part of the fun!

We think that it’s important for kids to know where their food comes from and the work that goes into producing it. So bring the whole family to the Green Connect farm for a fun and educational farm tour where everyone can touch, smell and taste their way through our 11-acre farmlands. Come meet our perky pigs, our cheeky chickens and our shaggy sheep! Kids under 3yrs are free.

Join our friendly, informative, hands-on tour of our farm where we explain the growing process from seed to plant to vegetable to kitchen table. We have animals on our farm including pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, bees (please notify us if you or your child is allergic) and the occasional snake. The farm is quite steep in places, gets very muddy after rain, and there are lots of uneven surfaces so only book your tickets if you feel confident that you can traverse our unique site.

You’ll need to bring:

- Enclosed shoes or boots—sorry no thongs on sandals as we have ants, occasional snakes and other creepy crawlies on the farm.
- Sunhat and sunscreen or rain gear including gumboots (please check the forecast).
- Water to drink.
- Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (and maybe a change of clothes just in case).

Weather: Please note that if the weather has been particularly wet the farm might be muddy and wet so make sure to dress appropriately. We don’t cancel tours in wet weather (unless it’s a dangerous storm) as getting wet or muddy is all part of the fun.
