Fever Pitch is a musical walking tour through the streets of Erskineville Village. On your way you’ll come across pop-up performances, cross-cultural collaborations, words and music, a glimpse into an unexpected world of stories, told from the heart.
There will be six repeating 20-minute pop-up musical duos in parks and intimate spaces dotted about this quaint inner city village, creating fleeting sonic wonderlands in urban spaces normally dominated by planes, trains and car noise.
Ensemble Offspring regulars partner up with guest artists including a spoken word poet from Somalia, a guzheng superstar from China, two hot Indie singers, an Indigenous saxophonist and more to explore a huge range of culturally diverse musical worlds. Unique, culturally diverse duo combinations collide to showcase startling sonic possibilities in unexpected locations in the Inner West of Sydney – plus it’s free!
