Gisborne Steam Rally 2020: CANCELLED

The Gisborne Vintage Machinery Society have general public health concerns as well as the health of our members.

It is with great regret that we are cancelling the Gisborne Steam Rally 2020. We need to balance the running of our Rally with our responsibilities in the community.

It is our sincere hope that by May 2021, we will be able to resume holding our annual Rally and that it will be bigger and better than ever.

An old-fashioned Steam Rally is a great family fun day.

Experience all the sights, sounds and smells of yesteryear at the Gisborne Vintage Machinery Rally and Tractor Pull.

For the children there are Miniature Train Rides, Model Train layout, a Petting Animal Farm, Camel Rides.

For fathers and grand-fathers, the drama of the Tractor Pull and the glamour of a huge array of classic and vintage cars and trucks.

The full-size operating Steam Roller, traction engine & vintage farm machinery sound and look awesome.
Market stalls full of interesting bibs and bobs as well as yummy Food and coffee vans.
