Golden Bay Shipwreck Cove Grand Opening

Golden Bay will celebrate the Grand Opening by hosting a fun-filled day out, running from 11am to 3pm, that will see a host of activities on offer including the opportunity to meet a real life mermaid and pirate, BMX demos, face painting, mermaid bracelet making, pirate hat craft stations, balloon twisters, live music and more.

For those looking to set up shop for the day there will be food trucks on site, free coffee, and free sausages and ice creams for the first 500 event goers. Plus, Mix 94.5 will be on deck handing out free giveaways!

The foreshore development will see a shipwreck-themed playground take centre stage, with several additional features including an enclosed toddler playground for its younger pirates and mermaids, BMX and scooter tracks, multiple direct beach access points and a look out with views of the stunning Indian Ocean.
