After the empowerment, Gen Dornying will teach us how to create a world of loving-kindness by starting with ourselves.

On Sunday, you can deepen your connection to Buddha Maitreya and your experience of loving-kindness at our one-day retreat.

An empowerment is a special blessing ceremony that empowers you to engage in a particular spiritual practice. You don’t need any special equipment to participate from home: just a device to watch the live stream and a comfortable seat.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Dornying is the Resident Teacher of both Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia, Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne, Darwin and Alice Springs. He has been teaching Kadam Dharma in Australia for over 16 years. He is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to modern life.

Gen Dornying teaches the Teacher Training Program, The Foundation Program, and most of the special courses at KMCA.
