Hoola hoops can be more than just for spinning – they can also be for weaving! And we'll show you how to do just that over the holidays.
Suitable for ages 10 to 16 years.
In this workshop, Dianne, our talented facilitator, will teach your capable kids how to repurpose a hoola hoop into a loom.
Participants will walk away with a decorative piece for the bedroom floor, bed or wall. Our workshoppers will be provided with an array of colourful materials for everyone to design their own piece.
Please note, this is a 3 hour workshop and it is expected that participants will be able to finish a completed piece within that time.
For a more bespoke touch, we recommend you bring along:
Old clothes or sheets that you don't mind being upcycled into 'yarn'.
