In order to celebrate International Women’s Day on Monday March 9, Lakelands Shopping Centre, owned by ISPT is proudly partnering with Lakelands Estate, PEET and NDIS APM Communities to host a free event featuring six inspirational female speakers from the local community.

Guests of all genders are invited to attend as the panel of local leaders, community members, entrepreneurs and more explorers this year’s theme of #EachforEqual and what it means to them.

The women featured in the discussion hail from different age groups, industries and backgrounds and will share the stories of their lives. The inspiring discussions will delve into their accomplishments, challenges and experiences, as well as what equality looks like through their eyes.

Retail Manager, Amanda Clarke, said, “Lakelands Shopping Centre is invested in helping to create an equal world by recognising and celebrating the achievements of women within the Mandurah community. We have so many wonderful ladies and girls in the community and we hope to see a large and diverse crowd on March 9 as we learn more about #EachforEqual.”

Among the panel will be guest speaker, Paddi Creevy, who is the Chairperson of the Peel Development Commission. With an extensive list of achievements, she was also the Mayor of the City of Mandurah for 9 years, has received an Order of Australia medal and was inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame.

The free event will include a light lunch and will be held from 9:30am to 11:30am on Monday 9th March at Lakelands Town Square, and guests are asked to please register their attendance at lakelands.com.au or by emailing Sonya.Snowsill@apm.net.au. Registration is also available by phone on 1300 276 522.
