International Women's Day Sunrise Yoga

In order to celebrate International Women's Day on Sunday March 8, Southgate Sylvania Shopping Centre, is partnering with Fitness First to lead a sunrise flow yoga session.

Women of the Sutherland Shire are invited to attend alone or with friends as Southgate transforms the rooftop carpark into a calming yoga space. It will be a great opportunity to connect with likeminded women, enjoy the outdoors and explore this year’s International Women’s Day theme, #EachforEqual.

Marketing Manager, Danielle Bullock, said, "Southgate is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day with our Shire Community. Our sunrise yoga session is a beginner’s flow class and we’re expecting a great turn out."

"We hope to see many of the familiar female faces who make the area so wonderful to live in as we take time to reflect on what #EachforEqual means to us at Southgate."

There are 100 free tickets available, with spots going fast. Tickets include entry to the yoga class, a yoga mat, towel, drink bottle, breakfast and more.

The sunrise yoga session will be held from 7:00am to 7:45am on Sunday 8th March on the rooftop of Southgate Sylvania Shopping Centre, and guests are asked to arrive 20 minutes early for check in. Breakfast will follow where attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with other local women.
