Jackie Bornstein is one of Melbourne’s most captivating singers, known for her rich tones and ability to get to the heart of a tune. Joined by the gifted guitarist James Sherlock, Jackie will perform her favourite jazz classics at Melbourne's new creative space in the heart of Richmond- POME. Jackie will also share her love of languages singing in English with a dash of French, Portuguese and Spanish. The program will feature a beautiful repertoire of ballads, bossa nova and swing tunes by influential composers from across the globe including George Gershwin, Peggy Lee, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Charles Trent, Maria Grever and more.

A regular at Melbourne's top jazz venues, Jackie has secured sold out shows at the Melbourne Recital Centre, Kew Court House and the Melbourne International Jazz Festival several years running. Trained classically as a child, Jackie went on to study jazz at the Victorian College of the Arts and completed a UK Masters Peace and Conflict scholarship. She performs with a selection of Australia's finest musicians and enchants audiences with her emotive delivery and beautiful tone.
