Jackie Bornstein Trio

Join Jackie Bornstein and her Trio for an evening of beautiful music, food and wine at the luxirious Le Plonc restaurant and wine bar.

Bringing her rich vocals and ability to get the the heart of a tune, Jackie will perform sensitive interpretations of her favourite jazz classics adding a dash of French, Portuguese and Spanish. The program will feature a sophisticated repertoire of ballads, bossa nova and swing tunes by influential composers including George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Charles Trenet, Maria Grever and more.

Jackie Bornstein is one of Melbourne’s most captivating singers known for her rich tones and ability to get to the heart of a tune. A regular at Melbourne's top jazz venues, Jackie has secured sold out shows at the Melbourne Recital Centre, Kew Court House and the Melbourne International Jazz Festival several years running. Trained classically as a child, Jackie went on to study jazz at the Victorian College of the Arts and completed a UK Masters scholarship. She enjoys exploring a broad repertoire that sees her singing compositions from across the globe in multiple languages.
