Life drawing at HOTA combines a muse, music and magnificent art.

The two-and-a-half-hour session combines live music and drawing to inspire creativity and allow participants to surrender to their surroundings.

Hosted by talented local artist Rebecca Cunningham, Life Drawing is an opportunity to draw the human figure in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

The workshops are held on the second Thursday of every month. Models, live music, basic art materials and light refreshments are provided. Drinks available purchase at the bar.

All are welcome, whether you have drawn your whole life or never before. Come along and give it a try!

Presented by HOTA, Home of the Arts.

Musician:

Felicity Lawless
From the streets and tapas bars of Spain and bustling Japanese live music venues, to Australian festivals, bars, and restaurants, Felicity Lawless has delighted many diverse audiences with her journey through sound and emotion. Her music is characterised by a flashy, Spanish guitar style, soaring vocal melodies and hypnotic rhythms. Felicity performs with an energy that elevates and inspires while infusing her crowds with enthusiasm and joy. Having honed her craft busking around Australia with nothing more than her guitar to feed her, it is little wonder that she has learned to capture and enchant audiences with virtuosity and sincerity.
