Melbourne Shakespeare Company are pleased to announce that due to the incredible audience response for this ‘side splitting comedy’ they will be extending their 2020 season of As You Like It.

As You Like It, which was originally due to close on the March 15, will transfer to the impressive Fairfield Amphitheatre for four extra shows on the 21st and 22nd of March. “Our shows are always well received but this production has gained unprecedented praise from both critics and audiences” explained artistic director Jennifer Sarah Dean. “We felt we had to extend to keep up with demand for ticket sales and also to allow as many people as possible to be able to enjoy this once in a lifetime production.”

As You Like It features some of Shakespeare's favourite characters in a series of mistaken identities and mishaps in the Forest of Arden that ultimately sees new friendships formed, and families and lovers reunited. Full of hysterical misadventures and unexpected twists and turns, As You Like It is a whirlwind adventure of love and laughter that is fun for all the family.
