A day for everyone interested in incorporating Indigenous languages into their daily life. Be part of this important forum with leading thinkers discussing the future of Indigenous language and its place as a human right.

Educators, professionals, community and creative industry workers are invited to gain hands-on skills and knowledge to use in their practice and learn how to use State Library collection and resources.

Join host, Daniel Browning, journalist, radio broadcaster and descendant from the Bundjalung and Kullilli people, and guest speakers including Henrietta Marrie, Gimuy Yidinji woman and activist, on this invaluable day as we celebrate language and culture.

Coinciding with International Mother Language Day, the forum will explore ways to harness the goodwill and energy of the 2019 International Year of Indigenous Languages and pose the question of what now?
