Moomba Festival 2020: Moomba Parade

Experience the colour and magic of the iconic Moomba Parade as it weaves its way through the leafy Kings Domain parkland, starting at Birdwood Avenue and finishing at Linlithgow Avenue, near Queen Victoria Gardens.

This year’s Moomba Monarchs, comedy legends Julia Morris and Nazeem Hussain, will reign over the Parade, waving to crowds from their Monarch Float. Since 1955, the Moomba Parade has captured the hearts and imaginations of Melburnians, bringing to life the vitality and energy of the beloved festival. The iconic parade, now in its 66th year, will celebrate Melbourne in all its wonder, from dance performances and cultural groups to kid-designed floats and everything in between.

Join around 80,000 Melburnians and visitors who will line the streets to cheer on the 1,800 Moomba Parade participants from 35 community and cultural groups, creating what will be a truly electric atmosphere.
