New England Bach Festival – Event 3 – Thoroughbass: POSTPONED

Step into the home of Johann Sebastian Bach and meet some of his family and friends—through music of course. Bach loved spontaneous soirées, often with his own family and friends making the music and we’d like to do the same. So here is a program Bach may well approve of—with sonatas by Bach himself, his second son Carl Philip Emanuel, family friend and brilliant gambist Carl Friedrich Abel, and (not yet born but let’s pretend) John Christian, the youngest.
