Project Ludwig – Australian String Quartet

Ludwig van Beethoven was born on 17 December,1770. In 2020, the 250th anniversary of his birth, this Adelaide Fringe festival, we celebrate the great composer with a series of special concert experiences around the country.

Come on an interactive journey through Beethoven’s opus18 string quartets where you decide the program! Dive headfirst into Beethoven’s sound-world in this special choose-your-own-adventure style event, culminating in a new and unique Beethoven quartet experience every time.

Project Ludwig is a collaboration between Australian String Quartet and experience design studio, Sandpit, popping up in surprise venues around Australia. It is presented in association with Sahmri (Adelaide), State Library of New South Wales (Sydney) and Museum of Brisbane (Brisbane).
