How far are you willing to go for your own family? And what happens when you have to care for the person who should be caring for you?
Reboot continues with an award-winning, laugh-out-loud, dark Irish comedy play The Cat’s Mother. Brought to life in BREC’s Cube Theatre by the Busselton Repertory Club the play touches on the issues that concern us all - family, relationships, love, loss, ageing and how to deal with unwanted pets.
Directed by John Lee, The Cat’s Mother is set in London and follows the story of two Irish sisters, Ciara & Sinead who are coming to terms with their mother's worsening dementia.
They must decide on a course of action that is best for all concerned and they take us through a roller coaster of moral, spiritual and ethical choices before reaching their decision.
Written by Irish playwright Erica Murray, The Cat’s Mother premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 and the Busselton Repertory Club are the first to perform the play in Australia.
Join us for another wonderful evening of live entertainment and laughter at Reboot with host Nathan Gardiner.
