Resonance Project brings together an evening of 5Rhythms embodiment and live music guests.

These are unique and special nights. They stand alone and you do not want to miss out. Pre-booked tickets are recommended as space is limited.

Resonance Project is a substance-free, intentionally held space of gentle guidance through the alchemy of the 5Rhythms dance practise, then drop even deeper into your own dance supported by local live producers and musicians across a range of genres to raise your resonance. End the night over a cup of chai connecting with our beautiful dance family whom we co-create with each time we journey on the dance floor together.

Live, improvised electro-acoustic musical journeys. John Sned and George Worthy combine minds and complementary musical backgrounds in a compelling and intriguing example of live musicians merging individual influences in the shared exploratory space of the electronic.

A beautiful, captivating sound journey that explores many musical realms. Improvisational inspiration is drawn from classical melody + jazz harmony & rhythm. An electronic performance that allows these influences an all-new space to play and dance within.

John and George share a mutual life experience of equivalently deep musical study—one that has grown into forms of unique expression through expansive use of technology and eclectic musical tools—allowing a beautiful and aesthetically diverse fluency of improvisational possibilities.

Expect luscious, hauntingly beautiful soundscapes, soaring melodic improvisations, deep downtempo beats, fluent and unique electronic controllerism, and organic, acoustic instruments given dazzling new life through complex layerings of processing and effects.

We hope you enjoy our new project! This collaboration was birthed in our debut live improvised performance—the opening ceremony of the 'Hammock Temple' space at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2019. At present, we are in the process of constructing and recording our initial EP and preparing this project for an exciting summer of busking in the Melbourne CBD.

"Dance is my thing, always has been, always growing, learning, exploring, playing. It’s how I move through the world. Dance is my profession, my passion, my healing, my skill, my service."

Rivka thrives on bringing humans together in ceremonial dance, where freedom, connection and transformation are individually and collectively embodied on the dance floor. Her dance floors range from inner-city church halls, sandy lined shores, leafy green forest beds and red desert earth. Rivka is clairaudient and utilises music medicinally and shamanically to support our transcendence on the dance floor.

Rivka has been dancing since the womb, She has been a space holder/facilitator of expressive somatic movement for 27 years, danced 5Rhythms for over 25 years and a certified 5Rhythms teacher since 2014. Rivka is a nature lover, a DJ, a choreographer, a long-time student of yoga, contact improvisation and body-mind centring and a community dance practitioner.

She has a BA in Dance and is a student of the university of life.
