Rock the House

Australian music legends John Paul Young, Ross Wilson, Glenn Shorrock, Russell Morris, Kate Ceberano and Brian Cadd will literally Rock The House when they come together for a special show.

Rock the House is a music fan’s dream gig—hit after hit after hit—and audiences can expect to hear all their favourites delivered by some of our dearest and most loved music icons. Between the six they share a combined total of 86 Top 40 hits, including the Australian classics ‘Eagle Rock’, ‘The Real Thing’, ‘A Little Ray of Sunshine’, ‘Love Is In The Air’, ‘Help Is On Its Way’ and ‘Bedroom Eyes’.

A highlight of the show will be Ross Wilson making his first ever appearance at the Sydney Opera House. Despite being at the forefront of the Australian music scene for a remarkable 55 years and fronting two of the most successful Aussie bands of the 70s and 80s, this will be the first time that Ross Wilson will play at the Opera House. “I can’t wait,” Ross says. “And the experience will be even more special because I’m sharing it with some of my best music mates.”

Co-producer Phil Bathols said it’s a thrill and a privilege to be presenting such an extraordinary line up of significant Australian artists at the Iconic Sydney Opera House. “This is the kind of concert event Producers can only dream of,” audiences will hear all the hits and some great storytelling, as well as some magical, surprising collaborations.
