Have a break from the city and just cycle. Cycle on good rural roads with hardly any traffic, crowds or traffic lights.

After some late spring rain our local reservoirs are looking lovely and we all have our "Fingers crossed" that our catchment reservoirs will look good in March 2020.

The ride will start from our iconic Maryborough Railway station and then travel to 3 large water catchments beginning with Tullaroop Reservoir, followed by Cairn Curran Reservoir before heading across to Laanecoorie Reservoir before riders swing riders back to Maryborough (Vic) to finish at the Maryborough Railway Station.

We are really excited to announce that due to the location of these local reservoirs there will be 3 ride distances on offer!!

The 33km ride (R1R) is to Tullaroop Reservoir and back and is the perfect ride for those just starting out or wanting to have an quick ride.

The 73km ride (R2R) loops through Tullaroop and Cairn Curran Res before returning to Maryborough via Carisbrook and is a great distance for those who are building fitness or wanting a pleasant Sunday ride. The R2R includes a feed stop at Baringhup.

The Rotary 3 Reservoir (R3R) route is the longest ride at 108km and travels past all 3 Reservoirs before returning to the Maryborough Railway Station . This longer ride will take in some beautiful countryside with an constantly changing landscape between reservoirs. Included in the 108km is a feed stop at Baringhup & a drink stop at Laanecoorie Res.

All riders will also be provided with:

FREE.. BBQ sausage & drink for entrants on completion of ride. FREE..raffle ticket for entrants to win a prize donated by Priceline Pharmacy, Dellavedova Wines , Giant bikes Castlemaine & others. Raffles drawn at 3pm. Prize winners must be present to claim prize.

Light meals available from "Tracks Cafe" at Railway Station. Their main speciality for the day will be pizza and drinks (especially beer). The option to prebook a pizza is available on our ticketing page.

There are also several local eatery options within the immediate area of the Maryborough Railway Station.

Make sure to take advantage to our discounted early bird ticket prices by 22/2/2020 to avoid a $10 price increase.

This is a not for profit event . Because of our awesome volunteers and awesome sponsors 100% of the ticket price will be donated to support local community charities in Maryborough.
