SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium is hosting a variety of virtual activities to engage and entertain kids during the Spring school holidays!

SEA LIFE Holiday Camp:

SEA LIFE Melbourne’s first ever school holiday camp allows kids to discover all sorts of information about aquatic animals and their habitats through a series of interactive sessions. Hosted by a marine education expert via Zoom, each three-hour session focuses on a different animal and includes meeting keepers, interesting activities and plenty of time for questions!

Recommended for kids aged 7-12, the program dives deep into the world of penguins, seahorses, jellyfish, sharks, turtles and crocodiles with the aim of encouraging kids to learn, have fun and connect with the creatures! SEA LIFE Melbourne’s Holiday Camp can be booked for one or more days and costs $49 per child per session with the option of purchasing a Holiday Camp Activity Kit for $93 (including postage). Junior Shark Keepers:

Become a Junior Shark Keeper with SEA LIFE Melbourne! Kids can sink their teeth into worksheets, quizzes, live streams and interviews with shark experts, which are all available free of charge on the aquarium’s Facebook page and website during the school holidays.

Kids can get to know the 10 species of shark that live at SEA LIFE Melbourne including grey nurse sharks, Port Jackson sharks, leopard sharks, black reef sharks, speartooth sharks and more! They come in all shapes and sizes and are ambassadors for their species, helping the aquarium raise awareness of the plight of their relatives in the wild. There are also Junior Shark Keeper showbags available for $53 (including postage). Further information: www.melbourneaquarium.com.au/junior-shark-keepers.
