Special Fig Mid-Month Show - Starring Taylor B-W

In an effort to support artists & fans alike during this traumatic time in the music industry we are starting live shows in July - on Saturday 18th and Friday 31st.

The govt restrictions have forced a number of changes. Our audience size must be more than halved and to compensate our ticket price will increase to $30. Even then the artists will probably receive 35% less than normal. Our artists for the show on the 18th are Kevin Bennett & The Flood (Aria nominated & six Golden Guitar awards), Glenn Bidmead and Taylor B-W.

The Fig:

1. Provides a listening space where patrons can hear the artists without interference from background talking and other noise. The artists are invariably blown away by the attentiveness of our large crowd of regulars.

2. Supports live music - showcases most genres of music from acoustic to big bands with cafe style seating

3. Provides an inexpensive night out - patrons can BYO drinks and snacks. Food & drinks are also available at the club from 7pm. Tickets are $30 during Covid restrictions

4. Is non-profit, volunteer-run so proceeds go to the performers - after deducting the costs of the venue & soundman the door goes to the artists

6. Provides a variety of music - acts can range from singer-songwriters through to big bands who have been playing at festivals, parties & charity events for years. There will be a mix of styles with covers and originals.

7. Caters for a wide range of ages - this is an adult space but children under 18 who would enjoy good music and accompanied by an adult, are very welcome.
