Storytelling & Responsibility: A Discussion Evening

An honest conversation between Olivia Cummings of Cleopatra’s Bling and Erika Geraerts of Fluff. An evening of goodie bags for all attendees, drinks, and sharing.

Olivia and Erika will offer insights that will speak not only to other young entrepreneurs, but to anyone who is looking for inspiration on how to follow their passions successfully and ethically. In this spirit Fluff and Cleopatra's Bling are donating all profits from ticket sales to not-for-profit SisterWorks, to assist in their work lifting up creative women from migrant and assylum seeker backgrounds.

The two founders will discuss how to build an international brand with integrity, responsibility, and creativity at its core, and how to maintain audience engagement in a time in which where we’re all starved of intimate connection. They question, "What stories are left to be told and how can we best tell them?".

These two young female creatives know that success doesn't happen overnight, and that many obstacles stand in the way to finding your path, in a world that doesn't always encourage individuality. Erika and Olivia will discuss how they encourage their clients to be themselves, in a climate of comparison, and tell long-form stories through their work in an internet saturated environment that has sapped our attention spans.

Erika Geraerts is the founder of Fluff, the beauty company for anyone who thinks that the world doesn’t need more products, just better products. Anyone who’s sick of bunny testing. We create jewellery with emotional and historical relevance, dipping into the collective memory, all while respecting ancient jewellery-making tradition.
