Sunday was traditionally 'Visitors Day' for friends and acquaintances of the Heysens to meet at The Cedars for afternoon tea. Sally (Lady Selma) Heysen was an accomplished cook and charming hostess and her cake-baking was legendary.

Many famous people enjoyed the ambience and the culinary delights at The Cedars on these special occasions.

We invite you to follow in their footsteps for a personalised tour of the Heysen home, Hans and Nora Heysen studios, and Artist's garden followed by a special Heysen afternoon tea featuring Lady Heysen's renowned home-baked coffee cake and honey biscuits.
