Supersonic Science

Supersonic Science—hands on workshop 45-minute sessions.

Five experiments are performed and the attendees will take home two of their experiments—instant snow and slime (Supersonic Science package on the day for each attendee).

Week 1 experiments are follows:
- Superabsorbent Polymers (Supersonic Snow) packaged on the day for each attendee to take home
- Non Newtonian Fluids (Supersonic Slime) - packaged on day for each attendee to take home
- Toroidal Vortices (Vortex Cannon Rings)
- Bubbleology
- Reversible Oxidation Reduction Reaction (Traffic Light)

Week 2 experiments:
- Superabsorbent Polymers (Supersonic Snow) packaged on the day for each attendee to take home
- Non Newtonian Fluids (Supersonic Slime) - packaged on day for each attendee to take home
- Gravity Defying Soda Pop
- Bernoulli’s Principle (gravity defying beach ball)
- Exothermic Reactions (Elephants Toothpaste)

Session Times:

1st session: 10am to 10:45am
2nd session: 11:15am to 12pm
3rd session: 12:30pm to 1:15pm
4th session: 1:45pm to 2:30pm

4 x 45 min sessions per day (session run time is approximate)
